I have always felt enriched by change. For me, transition has been a way of life. I have enjoyed over twenty-five years of success as an organizational, marketing, cultural resource management and PR professional, in a wide range of disciplines: the performing arts, maritime archaeology and heritage, science-based projects and topic-specific conferences – in the professional and academic worlds, and in the profit and not-for-profit sectors. However, I reached a point in life where I felt that there was more waiting for me, though I didn’t yet know what it was.  

I realized that I am happiest and most productive when doing what I do best: interacting with people who are working towards their dreams and goals. So I decided to seek a way to combine my professional background with my interest in facilitating personal progress, growth and change. The question was ‘How?’ 

With a BSc in Arts Administration and Music, and an MA in Archaeological Heritage Management, I created Open Minds, Reaching…^TM, a cultural resource management consultancy. I then trained as a Co-Active Coach with The Coaches Training Institute of California, adding life coaching to my practice. Coaching enables me to address the core issues facing people in their personal lives in order for them to move themselves forward. And once on this path, I haven’t looked back.

It is incredibly rewarding. I can say: ‘Been there – Done that’, about many things. But now I can add, ‘Am there – Doing that’, about working with people to guide them toward reaching their goals. What a great place to be!
